How do you retrieve your golf ball?
(Fishing a ball out of the water on the 9th hole at Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links in Berlin, MD)
Water runs along the left side of the 9th hole from tee to green. This is my friends approach shot which trickled into the water and was visible as we approached for a drop. My friend decided he was going to reach down for it and my cousin thought we should help.
When I was asked to help, I did what any good friend would do. I ran to the cart, grabbed the camera and this picture was born!
Golf balls have evolved from their very origin. The first golf balls and clubs were made of wood. These have been replaced with feathered (skin leather balls stuffed with feathers.). Feather was followed by balls of gutta perch that has included the reduction of costs and ensure sustainability.
