My end of the year golf trip is complete and although it's sad to see it go, we had a great time as usual. The trip was 4 nights/5 days and featured 72 holes of golf although I snuck in an extra 18 to make it 90 holes in 5 days.
(The sun rises over the 18th fairway at Bayside Golf Resort. The view is from our house.)
The itinerary look like this:
- Wednesday is travel day. We had guys coming in from as far away as Boston so we don't play a round this day. Everyone arrives, we have a bbq or order food, give out the welcome packs (shirts, golf balls, etc) and relax. *Note: I played a round in this day at Bayside Resort prior to everyones arrival.
- Thursday: Rum Pointe Seaside golf Links in Berlin, MD.
- Friday: We play 36 on this day. This year it was at Bear Trap Dunes in Ocean View, DE.
- Saturday: Our final round, we played Bayside Resort Golf Course followed by a "championship dinner". The winner gets a jacket & silver mug to be engraved.
- Sunday: Depart
When people book their golf trips, they don't often think of Delaware or Ocean City, MD. If you have never played there, consider it.
Tell Us About The Trip
This week I will write about the trip in great detail. The posts will be about the travel, the house, the courses and anything else i think might help you in your trip planning. As always, you can e-mail me with any questions or comment to help everyone out.
Stay Tuned!

The gap between NSQ and Stacy was less than six seconds. Way too close for comfort, but she'll take it. Ironically, after some horrific displays in the past, the margin of victory today may have come from NSQ's relatively speedy transitions. We have now burned her sock collection.

Have you ever been to Myrtle Beach for golfing?

We took our annual trip to Myrtle in 2006, it was awesome! We have looked into going back and I'm actually hoping to get back down this year. Grande Dunes was my favorite.
