I have not mentioned this before but one of my new hobbies is photography. In the past I have not done a great job documenting my golf trips but that will all change going forward. Once in a while you can expect to see a picture (or two) from a round I played. I'll do my best to make it a unique photo but sometimes it will just be something I think is cool.
Mahogany Run Golf Course: St. Thomas USVI (2007)
(The warning sign for the Devil's Triangle, the 13th, 14th, and 15th Holes)
As you approach the 13th hole, you'll see this sign. It warns you about the nest 3 holes coming up nicknamed The Devil's Triangle. If you play these 3 holes without a penalty stroke you receive a certificate.
(The 14th hole, 173 yard par 3 carved out of the side of a cliff)
I was the only one in my group to make it through the first hole without a penalty stroke. I probably could have played it safe here but I hit 7-iron left (twice) and now have two golf balls in the Caribbean Sea. The islands you see in the background to the left of the green on Tortola (BVI) and St. John (USVI).
One of the most beautiful golf holes I have ever played. I'll do a full post on this course in the future. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
